Three and a Half Stars

Ataxia and the Ravine of Lost Dreams - Rachel Barnard

Pros:

Ataxia features a great heroine and engaging storyline.

The dystopian setting is believable. I could easily see our world becoming like this.

I liked being inside MC’s head. She didn’t leave me bored or make me want to throw my eReader away.

The action scenes in the Cube. Love!

Cons:

Some paragraphs were too long. One went on for a page and a half. It was hard on the eyes.

Jeanie. Everything about this character rubbed me the wrong way, but that’s just me.

The ending felt rushed.

Overall, it was a fun read. I will be checking out more of Rachel Barnard’s work to see what her other stories are like.
